Hein from Bike Talk in conjunction with KZNMF have started an initiative to investigate accidents involving motorcycles. The aim is not establish blame, but to look at contributing factors, keep an appropriate database and then to look into what can be done to minimize accidents.
They are looking for volunteers across the country to help with investigations.

Attached is a draft letter of Introduction you can give to the relevant people. If you feel we need to change or add something, then let me know. If you know of anyone who'd like to become a MASI Investigator, kindly forward the attached Application Form to him/her to complete and return to me for processing.

Please, we need more investigators to assist Hein and establish the cause of motorcycle accidents so that the necessary steps can be taken to reduce them.
