As you are all hopefully aware Friends of DeWildt (FOD) organises & facilitates a number of community events in the greater DeWildt area on an on-going basis. Two of our regular events are the “Winter Run” in May & the “Toy Run” in December.
Our current “Winter Run” is scheduled for Saturday 4th May 2013 and this year we are hoping to distribute 10 000 pairs of gloves to school kids in the area. We have managed to secure knitted gloves at R8.00 pair and are looking to corporate and individual sponsors for donations.
For ease of administration we would appreciate if you could complete a “Donor Pledge” form and fax / mail this back to us and then do a direct deposit into the FOD bank account. An official receipt and letter of gratitude will be sent to all donors for their records.
We thank you in anticipation of your donation and assure you that it will make a difference to some kids this winter. It would be greatly appreciated if you could pass this on to your friends and if you can get your company to make a donation.
