Still a bit confusing M
The Nuda is an attractive scoot
May be able to pick one up cheep cheep ?
As long as Husky retains it's  heritage.........with a bit of Katoom mixed in ...... could be recipe for success
Whatever you're thinking, think the opposite

Sure P -- Husky was using Magura and some other goodies long before KTM -- But putting Husaberg and Husky together in the same shops could be a seller.

Love the Nuda -- but looks like anything with BMW origin is History --

Going to be interesting as the bikes for the bike show later this year are being worked on as we speak -- I can only see good coming from this --although i feel like this pick below -

On the face of it it all looks like a dream come true as opposed the ridiculous induced suicide strategy that BMW seemed to be determined on for Husky.

Also a bit of a full circle because, Husaberg was formed by ex Husky employees after it was originally sold to the Italians.

And he is right the entire range could do with some modernisation - not discontinuation which BMW seemed intent on doing!

So a collaboration between Husaberg and Husky producing a range of new bikes would be a fantastic thing IMO!

I honestly think we should all start petitioning for a reinstatement and modernisation of the 610 - any body have any contact details where we could send our pleas to?

Only real issue is the ongoing world recession which may force its own reality on proceedings!

I just finished a SciFi novel Extinction: Task Team, download the preview.

Some good news that will filter to all countries i take it --

April 2, 2013

Dear Husqvarna North America Dealer,

Further to communications you have previously received from Pierer Industries AG, we would like to provide
additional direction to our North American dealer network.

Our clear goal, going forward, is to integrate Husqvarna North America into the KTM North America group, as a
daughter company. W e plan to optimize certain business functions like parts distribution, logistics and accounting.

The priority will be to run the two brands separately and maintain dedicated Husqvarna staff and dealer network,
wherever feasible.

In the immediate future, our team will be evaluating market conditions, with a primary objective of supporting the
dealer network. In particular, we will be analyzing the current status of dealer stock, and launching appropriate
retail programs as early as April.

At this stage, day-to-day operations should remain status quo. Your existing Husqvarna contact points stay the
same.

Fully recognizing the rich history of the Husqvarna brand, we are excited to have the opportunity to work towards
restoring the brand to its position of strength, worthy of the brandsí 110-year heritage.

Further details on the business transition will be shared as they become available.

We are confident that together, we can accomplish great things.

Looking forward to working with all of you,

Best Regards,

Jon-Erik Burleson Werner Kastenauer

Just wonder how long it will take to trickle to the southern most tip of Africa?? Wonder what the status quo is here?
