Sorry about your off, hope you heal soon ...the ribs get bearable after 10 days but only really heals in about 2-3 months.

Gees Simon, sorry to read about this now, glad you're "relatively" okay. Such a bummer after you've been so looking forward to the Lesotho trip. But like a mate of mine said to me after my wipeout... " it's happened for a reason, deal with it and get better, it wasn't meant to be".

Vasbyt for the flight back down, it's gonna hurt but the flight attendants will take good care of you. That broken collarbone is a pain in the ass and I can already tell you now, if the skin ain't broken they will probably only do the op later in the week when the swelling has gone down :-(

Hang in there and shout if I can help in any way.

Not nice to hear, gladd you are sort of ok. Hope you get well soon. Luckily these 990 do not get a lot of damage when you fall. Had 3 offs in 2 days with mine with miner scratches, but I had one sore rib and knee  ;D

Do not fly before Xrays of your chest have been done.
Clinicians can contact the clinicians' hotline number on 0800 111 131 (for doctors only); and, in addition to 0800 029 999, the public can also contact the public hotline number on 0800 111 132. These lines all operate 24 hours a day.

OK.
It is a bad idea to fly before lung injuries have been excluded.

He should be landing here in about an hours time & I'm sure he'll give an update as soon as he can.
