So after much deliberating it was decided I will use the wife's scoot instead of my Bitch to the bash and thus found that Kymco does have a 500 cc adventure bike !!!
We left Toti early on Friday morning, bakkie packed to the max with kayaks, fridge for the lapa and all other gear supposedly needed by the wife and kids ;D
Also kids bikes was on the trailer - pity laaitie has not done his learners yet, otherwise he would be riding with me.
Had lekker ride down to the Bash, the Kymco got tested on the way there with a few gravel sections on the R624 and then it was down the Hella Hella pass - interesting with no engine braking and just hanging onto the brake levers.
All and all the scooter did well, enjoyed the ride there and back and even managed some "adventure" cruising around in Highover and down to the river.
The bash was awesome !!!!
Great to meet all the people and had a excellent time - Draadkar kept us entertained all the way :thumleft:
Butch - pity you had to leave us on Sat
Once again thanks a mil Esbee for the great organizing and also all the ladies for the great food !!!
To all the other guys and gals - not going to name all just now I forget someone ;D was really good meeting you all :thumleft:
And the off course some pics..............
1 - ready to leave
2 - gravel on R624
3 - campsite
4 - Bridge over Mkomazi
5 - Breakfast Sat morn
