The best way to get information is to look at the Amageza website and check out the rules

the XR600R will be a great bike to use IMO

Sorry IMO =  In My Opinion

THere are a few threads on this site about the rally but to be fair it is a long way off and there is not a lot of detail out there

The basics is you will need to register and pay a deposit, you will need a bike, a range of at least 250km and a sence of humour.. start in CT, end in Upington.. have a blast.

You wont need to do any qualifiers. Alex told me that those who can finish the first day 1st day will have qualified in their own right.

Other than what Fuzzy said you need to get an ICO and have a GPS.  REVS is a wild dog who sells ICO's so pm him if you want more info.

You will need to have at least average technical riding ability and be fit enough for up 600km/day of dirt riding. Its not going to be a walk in the park if you go by what people are saying about it, but it will be a lot of fun.

Good luck and happy rallying :ricky:
