New R1200gs Liquid cooled Test Ride

Dont fall on new GS, radiators get damaged at huge cost to repair. NEEDS protection like tankbars on GSA. But impressive technology at good price.

I rode one all day long and liked it very much.
It's an improvement on the previous model in every way I can think of.
Had the best fly-by-wire throttle I have ever felt, although I still dont love the technology

It was truly a pleasure to ride

Coming from Luckystricker, it must be true that the bike is lekker.

I saw three guys on them just as we were entering Cullinan on Sunday morning.  They were quite windgat though.  Cut into the safe space between me and a car and then did not stop at the railway crossing    Very naughty.

I only popped in to the spares counter to enquire the price of an air filter. Whilst still in a state of shock, I staggered dazedly over to the new bikes, and the salesman jumped me. I said "Where's the new liquid cooled job?" He said the only one had gone out to a customer that morning, but insisted on taking my phone no. and e-mail, and promised to call me for a test ride as soon as one became available. I said "Oh, well........all right then."
Surely he must be able to tell just by looking that I couldn't even afford the air in the tyres!
