This is my first foam air filter... and so far I think something is wrong. As far as I know, the air filter should be sealed nice and snugly around the intake, but the foam is not tightly fitted to the foam's skeleton (I have no idea what to call that). This means that air can be sucked in around the sides of the foam and straight into the intake... Which is not good.

When I look at images of other DR650 air filters, they all look similar, but I can't tell if this is standard or not. I'm considering gong to buy a new filter this week. Whaddaya think? I can post pics pretty soon.
