But i believe they are trying to emulate the Sturgis event

ABW is not quite Sturgis. Our old rally is back up and running,and more along the lines of a Sturgis event. Hennie on the forum is actually the main organizer. Last year was the first one after a break,but the town of Graaf Reinet has given the go ahead for the next three years.

Last year some of our club guys did a train trip up to Pretoria,then rode to Durbs from there after taking bikes off train. After they did an epic trip back down to Cape Town.
I am hoping to do this next year.

Africa Bike Week - hell yes, what a jorl, like Bronzy been to four and had a blast every time........

Sadly it won't be all party for us as I have a stand there, as usual the terrible twinz da Bling King and Zebra will be sharing a stand and plying their wares. So we invit all the Dawgs to come and spend their mullah on trinkets with us after you've likkered yourself at the JD tent.
Sadly the precious candy with the 98cm inseam and the 36D's (true story) has just called to say she won't be helping us ply our wares as her stupid bastid Bossette won't give her leave - gggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

But my darling Dilana is coming out from the USA to perform there and she is alone worth a visit to the show!

If you are sitting on the fence trying to decide - JUST DO EEEEETTTTTT!!!!! I can guarantee you will have a jorl!
