I have been looking for a decent toolbox for my 1200GS, in my case not for tools but to house all of the gadgets that I seem unable to resist.

An internet order and a courier later, and this arrived:

Build quality is impressive, right down to the threaded inserts.

The lock cover is a neat touch.

Inside space is not huge, but a BMW Cruz tool roll does fit inside -just.

The box attaches to the pannier frame via two supplied brackets.

The fit is tight, but neatly done. They have used all of the available space, without interfering with the pannier fit or, more importantly, the rear suspension travel.

Top view, with the Zega panniers fitted. It is not that easy to get fingers in there to align the key with the slot in the puck, but it is still possible.

Altogether a rather neat solution, I think.

I ordered it from these guys:

The web site says it is for the ADV only, but after a few emails (very helpful guys) we confirmed that it would fit the Touratech Zega racks on my R1200GS - which it does, admirably.
