TOY RUN - Port Elizabeth
« on: November 21, 2007, 01:08:20 pm »
Any of the Port Elizabeth based Wild Dogs planning to take part?   If so, would it not be nice that we do it as a "pack" together?  What say the other dawgs in the PE kennel?  Also for the first time there is going to be a special ride for the off-road bikes - perhaps a lekker trip, judging from the meeting place, and final venue, I assume it will be through the Drift Sands dune fields at the back of the airport.

Presently at after ride gathering - what a crowd! Lots of windgatte and show-offs.  Just saw a wheelie gone wrong, one super bike without indicators and one oke with a big eina.  Unfortunately did not meet any other Wild Dogs.  Photo's to follow.

enjoyed it - was at beginning then went to the end along the beachfront (did not bother about the procession) didn't smaak the "slow" pace and windgatte - enjoyed the motocross at the end.

As promised, some photos from the PE Toy Run.  In my opinion - to many beer fuel bikers on some super bike with the loudest pipes, wearing a jacket with 40+ metal buttons, trying to relive the infamous Biker Rallies from the past.

Photo's 1 and 2:  The start and gathering venue.

Photo 3:  Coin line being constructed - part of the fund gathering process.

Photo 4:  Yet another windgat in action.  Could not help it, but I had no sympathy with a wheeling superbike that came short.

Photo 5:  A Wild Dog Logo amongst the chaos!
