I see you have an akro pipe...

What does it cost? Is it lighter than the stock pipe? How does the sound compare?

Is it just me or does those crash bars look like an excuse for crash bars...does not look like they'll protect the exhaust coming round the front bottom?

from the couple of bikes that I saw that has already taken a spill, the crash bars seems to do its job,  also the sidecovers on the 1190 is plastic and easily replaceable so should be reasonably cheap to replace.  The only way to protect the exhaust is to put a skidplate on, which I have ordered from KTM and waiting for- I also see that touratech makes a very nice looking one

the Akra is just under R11k - it is still very subdued and still meets EU sounds standards.  It is lighter but if you want noise it is not the pipe to go for - it is better than the stock but not by much - I know some guys have cut out the inserts but don't know what difference this makes
