Kaboef  ??? what are those two corks on the lefthand side of your cockpit??  :-[

Those are 12Volt sockets. For stuff like pumps, camping lights, hairdryers, etc.. ;)

The corks are in there to keep water and dust out. The toggle switch you see between the speedo and rev counter is to switch the plugs on and off.

Nice huh? Did it meself, yes sirree! ;D

Sluit jou garage, ek kom steel nou jou bike.. >:D ;D

But honestly - some bikes just grow on you. You form a bond with it.
The AT had personality, and I could swear she had moods. Sometimes she wanted to gooi, sometimes she wanted to just cruise. And she was always loyal. Never gave me trouble. Always put a smile on my face.
Its funny. But I know some of you guys have had the same experiences with your bikes.

Sold my last bike back in 1995. Had no bike for 12 years! Till 2 months ago, life was a cage... then this happened <drum roll>

Can't believe I wasted 12 years of my life >:(

Seems that Dakar is the first step off a Vespa for many members.

Are you implying there is something wrong with a Vespa!?
Vespas and Dakars are mere stepping stones to Yamaha BWS 100's !

02/02/12 - RIP Glen - the Arrow of Elliot and the little man with the big heart that truly was larger than life.

You have touched us and left us better for having known you - even if it was only briefly.

For grabbing the moment and living the day It's been way too early that you were taken away
