1190 saddle swop.
« on: April 26, 2013, 08:20:11 pm »
As far as I know the Adventure and Adventure R's saddles are interchangeable, so if there are any guys out there with an Adventure that would like to swap saddles with my R please give me a shout.

My reasoning for this is that my vrou does spend quit a bit of time on the back and the std. Adventure saddle offers a bit more comfort for the pillion.

Cheers. :thumleft:

Time will tell, but refuse to fork out the extra bucks for the "ergo" seat that is unneccessaly heated.  >:(

seems like I will be getting the non-R - I would consider swapping out, but need to know if the R seat will be height adjustable on the non-R....

I'm going to keep my R seat. I will just take it in to the guys to have the pillion seat build up a little bit  :thumleft: So that it is lever, then the wife wont slide towards me the whole time  :thumleft:

Air hawk guys, my wife was comfy on it for 700kms offroad on the R, talk to Adventurer! And BTW most guys on an R will have their wives so seldom on a seat that airhawk will be perfect for the time she is not airborne!   :imaposer:

Coming from a 1200 Adventure my "boudjies" still maar "brand" a little on the 1190 seat after more than 300km.

This will hopefully improve somewhat.
