Hi guys ,

All riders depart to start 7h45

The orginizer has listened to you and this year the track is much more technical and devided into two tracks , the Lemon & herb & the PERI PERI section .
The PERI PERI section of the track was set out by a legend in dirt biking , Sarel Sam van der Walt ...

As this will be my first event of this type, I will be doing the lemon and herb...

I was planning on doing this, but my fitness isn't where it needs to be yet. And after that guy dying at Wild West when i just got there on Saturday, i reckon i need to get my body right before attempting these things.

Will bump you guys somewhere there for a beer but the braai, I'm not sure.

I'll be with a few other boys so I'm leaving all the women stuff to them ..............  :peepwall:

Me, I'm just gonna ride and drink beer and I only ride till I get thirsty

I'll be on bike 51

I really wanted to be there on my 950 for the Lemon 'n Herb route, but business is just so strong at the moment with the 1190's I couldn't honestly stay away from the office. Sold 3 bikes that Saturday so it was worth it!
How'd the ride go Rob?
Got to take the time to do the things you wouldn't normally do.

Ride was great, woulda been a handful on the 950 (or a 650) - the first few kays were in a riverbed full of rocks - not bad on the 450 but it was a fast ride

I'll do the next one again but will do the peri-peri next time

Well done on the sales, Andrew - I've seen a couple on the road already

There was a guy with a drz400sm with slicks that did the peri peri in a t-shirt. Vid up somewhere on YouTube, he had a helmet cam too. Respect
