I am looking at bringing in motorcycle parts via Botswana as I cannot bring it in directly into SA(someone already has the rights to do so, I am not buying parts for business. Local guys are charging way too much about R7000 extra on the selling price abroad), does anyone know if I will incur customs charges in Botswana as SA does not charge any customs duty but rather VAT as I have been told.
I know VAT in Botswana is about 10%. I have friend working in Botswana who can collect the goodies for me.
