For the past year we've been playing with different idea's and towns to purchase a property that would not only allow us to move out of Cape Town, but it had to have sufficient land and space that we could create Camping and Self-catering facilities that would be 100% biker friendly.
The property would also allow us to live seperately from the proposed camp site.
The area also needed to be positioned in such a way that staying there for a long weekend, would allow you to have at least 3 day-trips to explore while your campsite is secure.

Our ideal property has been found in the Overberg - (the exact town and location to be announced once papers finalised)  :thumleft:

Pictures shown below is approximately 3/4 ha and consists of well established lawns that were used as a horse paddock. The property is surrounded by Beefwoods and is situated in such a way that the land is virtually wind-free and sheltered. Being North-facing is gets full sun even in winter.......

The site would be able to handle at least 40 - 50 tents.

We will be building ablution blocks with hot & cold water showers for ladies & gents.
A swimming pool & Lapa also planned as well as sheltered area's to supply ample shade for those hot days.
One of the barns on the property will be converted to a workshop that you could do maintenance and we'd also host a small "biker's shop" so that you can get nescessities that you might have missed or forgotten...........

SO .............  can we please get input from fellow Dawgs as to WHAT types of facilities might be needed additionally ........?  What would make this an attractive place to spend a weekend with your mates (only about 200km from Cape Town)  8)

The Campsite will obviously cater for others as well.... but our loyalties ensure that we create a biker friendly environment first.....  :thumleft:
