VENUE & Dates
This year's Bash will be held at the Umthombe Kei River Lodge, from Friday the 20th to Sunday the 22nd of September. Please note the public holiday on Tuesday the 24th of September as well.

Do note that there is approximately 8km of fairly rough dirt road that will need to be negotiated to the venue. If it has been raining, this road can become quite treacherous, so please be careful.

ACCOMMODATION
The venue can cater for us as a group for camping - and we prefer that you do - but there are some chalets available on site as well. Please arrange with the venue directly and for your own account if you want to book fixed accommodation, and mention that it will be for the WD National Bash for a negotiated discount rate. Please note that this will not entitle you to discount on the bash fee. The following chalets are available:
The Nest (6-sleeper): R600/night
Water’s Edge (4-sleeper): R450/night
Bird’s View (4-sleeper): R450/night
Forest Fern (4-sleeper): R450/night
Fisherman’s Haven (6-sleeper): R360/night (1 km from campsite)

EATING
The pricing for the braai packs still needs to be finalised, but I list last year's options here as an indication. I will update this as soon as we have clarity - but please do list your preference in your attendance.
Choice of braai packs: (Choose two. One for Friday and one for Saturday)
- Steak (Scotch fillet, 2 x Sosaties)
- Chops (2 x Skaap tjops, piece of wors)
- Chicken (Quarter chicken, spare rib, 2 x sosaties)
NB! Vegetarians. Please indicate if you are vegetarian. We will bring down some Woolies cheese platters for you in place of braai packs.
PRICING
The cost of this year's bash comes to R 535 per person. Please note that this can still change slightly as we finalise the pricing of the T-shirts, braai packs and stickers. The price includes:
There will be a cash bar available, charging beers between R10 (Castle, etc.) to R 15 (Savanna, etc.) each and hard liquor at R10 a tot. Colddrinks are R10 and shooters R15.
There is no cut-off date for Bash attendance and / or payment. However, if you know in advance that you will be coming please do register and pay beforehand, as it eases the admin load on us on-site considerably. We do build in a slight buffer for unannounceds for those who only know at the last minute whether you will be coming or not. We will be closing registrations here on the 10th of September and T-shirt printing will be happening a bit before that so, if you can, don't leave it until the last minute or risk not getting a T-shirt in your size!!!
