KTM 1190 ADV R- Not Legal
« on: May 13, 2013, 08:42:07 am »
OK. it is official boys the KTM 1190 Adv R is so good that it is not legal:

I fitted an off-road dongle and because of the EU nanny regulations,  my 1190 is now "Not Legal"

The off-road dongle does 2 things: 1) it allows you to use dirty fuel and 2) it does not reset the traction control and ABS when you switch these functions off and then switch the bike off and on...

Sounds like a brilliant mod. I wonder what the insurance companies will make of it  :patch:
Bensien - Wife came home today with a Samsung 3D LED TV and 3D Blue Ray player with built in wi-fi and 1TB hard drive. What else do I need?
Kaboef - A cheaper wife.

Still a KTM aftermarket goodie - and does not really change anything on the bike - after all you can still switch of the ABS and MTC
