Looking for advise???, instaed of extra tanks,  I am thinking of reducing my front or back sprocket to lower revs/better range on long tours.

You can Easily fit 1 tooth bigger in the front, I think it is then 16T, works quite well, helps a lot with top end  and fuel consumption, but you won't increse the range as much as a long range tank does. Still has loads of grunt and still very easy off road....

I went from a 45T down to 43T on the rear, much better top end and lower rev's.
Fuel consumption is 26km/L, so that's 3.8L to 100km.
I have 22L on my bike giving me a range of 570km on a tank (x3)

4 FUEL STOPS AND 650 WAS THE LIGHTEST EVERYTIME BY .2 OF A LITRE
THEN 690 + BM800 SPOT ON THE SAME

I did the changeover on the front sprocket 1tooth bigger to 16. Great combo, still lots of power and my range went from 180 to 240km.
