We (Me, wife & two kids) are travelling up to Namibia in the bakkie for three weeks in June.
They say the roadworks on the road to Upington via Calvinia & Brandvlei is very bad with long waiting periods at the checkpoints.
Someone suggested going via Springbok & Pofadder, but that is a detour of about 135km.
Anybody that stay in those areas/travelled that way recently that can help me. Is the Calvinia option really that bad, that one should rather
take the Springbok option that is 135km longer?
We will be travelling through Kgalagadi, exiting at Mata Mata, into Namibia!
Please help??
