The Speedbrain bike is basically the old Husquavarna. They only have 200 of them left. That's why speedbrain went with Honda, they did not have a bike after Husky got shutdown by KTM.

They only have 200 of them left.

What ? only 200 left at 20 000 EUR each !

What a steal - I'll take a few

Am I the only one that thinks that the Yamaha is rather fugly - looks like a praying mantis.

Is that the comfy seat option as per pic ?

Very interesting exhaust header design though.

Before all the yammie fans get their pee in a froth I do know that it is a purpose built rally bike and not intended to win any beauty pageants

Yeah, you're the only one ;-)

I don't think they had too many options with that exhaust header, they're running the YZ motor with the rear facing exhaust port and I guess they're limited by those rear fuel tanks. Makes me wonder how much influence that pipe is going to have on the temperature of the motor?

yep. The SB bike looks like a KLR in comparison.

I'm pretty sure that this Yummie design will become the norm for all the 450 Rally bikes.

no not the only one.. I think they missed the mark in the design department, bike looks crap but it is still one hell of a bike.

Still prefer this..

Yamaha's are good - But I wonder if you will ever get a rally bike off the shelf like you can with a KTM.

That makes 3 of us - I think that yammy looks kak. Sorry fuzzy, but I think the honda looks kak too.

Don't like to admit it but the KTM looks the biz - as does the the SB bike.

I'm also fascinated to see that they're running a Rekluse clutch on that Yamaha, if I'm not mistake that's rather unusual on a rally bike. What say you BB?
