I was wondering if any one has tried the tubliss system on there 690

I have. Still running it like that. You have to counterbalance the valve assmbly/tyre grab, as it is quite heavy. Failing to do so will cause severe shakes and uneven tyre wear. I drilled and cut open some large round fishing weights and bent it around the spoke nipples on the oppsite side of the valve.

The rear rim is quite wide, so you need to do the installation carefully.

Hi
I used to run tubliss on my 690. It kept the tyre inflated even when running soft tyre pressure.
It worked very well, but the trick is too keep inner tube inflated all the time, mine got soft, the friction/movement chafed the tube through at the rim lock. We just popped in a normal tube on the road side & continued the trip.
The bike is sold & will let the set go for R1000 if you wanna try it. It needs an inner tube about R140.

I didn't experience what avontier did with the counter balance problem

What tyres did you run, do they have to be tubeless tyres?

TKC 80 and Heidenau K60. Tube type.
