I am busy ( well i havnt started yet..) with the same conversion..
I already have the mudguard & fork protectors ( also 950SE)..
unfortunately I am also a master of procrastination, so this is taken a while..
My idea for the mod has been this...
Swop the double banjo bolt between the LHS brake cylinder & the master cylinder..
Remove the cross over brake hose..
Measure & have a new brake hose made up - Master to RHS cylinder.. ( should cost +- R500 from OIL Power or similar hydraulics shop - Alternatively buy brake hose from Ktm at around R1000 - but not sure if the angle on the top connector is correct )
I have dry fitted the mudguard & altho the holes line up, the rear of the mudguard touches the frame, so i would make up an adapter plate to bring the mudguard forward by about 20mm - changing the angle to raise the front would also work i suppose, wouldn't really want to trim it..
I would then need to source a brake hose holder for the RHS fork protector, haven't looked yet, but shouldn't be too difficult to find..
I was really lucky in finding a new second hand mudguard etc at a good price..
Still 6 -7 K seems like way too much..
Hopefully mine gets done soon, you have inspired me to pull finger..
