1190 Key to short
« on: June 28, 2013, 12:27:20 pm »
Dealer phoned me for my spare key card so they can give me spare keys, as the original ones are to short for the KTM luggage system :laughing4:

But, would you buy the KTM luggage?
If you can keep your head in the midst of all this confusion, you don't understand the situation!

Is there something one's got to watch out for? (Except for a "short" key).

I'd like those KTM boxes for my Adventure, and they're well priced. But then they musn't have issues.

I could not fit a helmet in the KTM touring topbox so got the touratech one

Thanks a mill.

That's surely something to watch out for.

Will you be getting the TT-panniers as well?

(Somehow the Touratech setup looks nicer on the R than the KTM set).

No - I use soft side luggage - but prefer the KTM side luggage as you do not need to put that ugly frame on - subjectively I also think the KTM luggage has a narrower profile - The KTM topbox seemed reasonably robust but not as robust as the TT ones
