Maybe its because i am not getting any younger, or the aches and pains are getting worse, but after 2 GSAs and one 1200GS i have "downgraded" to a F800GS. AND, i love it. maybe i am less windgat and feel less inclined to have the biggest bike with the most spot lights i could find, but after now having put a few 1ks on the 800, i am really questioning why i bought those big bikes in the first place.
Yes they have served me well over long distances, but i am sure so will the 800.
Is it just me, or as you get older you get more wise? and by wise i mean go lighter and more nimble, get less tired on the dirt and actually enjoy the ride??????????????
