Twak!!! anyone who can ride a bike can do this route.. With Andy at the helm, all you need is a pair of offroad tackies and the desire to have to give your steed a decent wash once done.. Try it.. You'll be back..  ;)

They must go if they want to ride fast.. There will always be someone who will sweep and be happy to.. I can pedal but you will often find me at the back. Anton also happily rides at the back.. Crossed up as well... The idea is to make it a nice ride for everyone.. Maybe Andy could consider a ride for the guys who don't want to jaag and a couple of the guys who are happy to ride along slowly, to help.. But it is by no means a daunting ride...

Good idea , But !
Last time I put a Noob ride up , 42 bikes pitched up and only 6 were Noobs.
The Alt route is only dangerous when u are riding fast , GJ finds it so easy , he wheelies all the time , even through the very muddy bits

But ja , lets make a Alt. route for noobs , good idea

You know what will happen Andy... There will be a whole bunch of bikes again. The guys who are quick, must either wait, or you split it into two groups.. If I am at home, I will gladly look after slower riders.. I am sure there will be a bunch of other guys who will gladly help...

I have been busy, so this is a little late and not much story telling.

Was a great ride. I had not seen the invite till late on Friday evening so I was a very last minute addition.

Morning! Bit nippy. Met guys that were new to me and some that like me were old farts.

Andy set off. I haven’t been with him for a few years but I really like the non-faf attitude of his leadership. Blink and he’s gone. I imagine the smokers in his groups can’t be too happy. Just fine by me.

The first bit to get to the good bit was pretty chilly. Just as we were getting to the better bits, the sun came to stay.

Alex on his rally machine.

The rally machine had a bolt missing. The great thing about his faring’s and tanks is that the zip off in no time. Didn’t even hold Andy up.

All the players had arrived at the start.

As mentioned before by others the track along side th track is fun and easy. I was a bit wary of the grass and mud so kept it slow.

Alex was moving along having fun. At one point Hedley came up and pointed at his light.I felt a bit shit. These bikes throw massive amounts of real estate out the back of them and being within 50 meters of them is not safe. He should know better though, he has one too.

We had a beer and chinwag. I had munchies that needed seeing to.

Die harde baarde.

Die baarde harde

"Jesus! you're back?"

I headed home with Alex. He said we’d go sedately. Like fuck!

On one of the dirt bits I was flat out in 6th and only barely passed him. 690’s are flipping hard to stay with. If the terrain gets a bit choppy, they’re gone.

Thanks to all for a great day.
I wonder where that road goes? And that, has usually made all the difference. Appologies to Mr Frost
