Plenty of guest houses to stay in. Try Umzimvubu Retreat or Jungle Monkey back packers (nice place to have a beer and relax)

Cremorne Estate is also nice, camping or chalets.  :thumleft: and they are right on the river.

Just stayed at www.holeinthewall.co.za,  6kms from Coffee Bay.  Loved it.  Speak to Alex if you are by yourself,  he might be able to make deal on a unit at reduced rates.  Camping also available.

Don't go to Bomvu (coffee bay) - unless you enjoy stepping in used condoms on your way to the bathroom...

What you after? Party?
If you after a social place and a party - Coffee Shack in Coffee Bay - it's awesome  - ask to stay over the river in the 'huts' there. Belinda Is the owner
Port St Johns - Amapondo - 0833153103 - Speak to Maz (MariAnne)
I stay at both those places often and they are great
BMW F650 DAKAR ; BMW 650 X-Challenge ; YAMAHA 660 TENERE ; BMW 800 GS KTM 200EXC. Now - KTM 950 Adventure S, KTM 250 XC-W and BMW 450 Rally

if u are interested in something no matter what it is, go at it full speed ahead, luke warm is no good, hot is no good either, white hot and passionate is the only thing to be...

I would rather stay in Hole in the wall than Coffe Bay, the beggars there drive you nuts.

Jungle Monkey in Port St Johns is a lekker jol.

I can second the recommendation of Cremorne in PSJ. Assuming & hoping that it did not go downhill since I stayed there (Dec. 2002 :D )

We stayed at Cremorne, and jolled a bit at the Jungle Monkey in May this year! :thumleft:

If you stay at Cremorne, stay in the chalets, with the kitchen in-between the rooms. ;)

The wooden hotel rooms is an issue, if you have a snoring neighbour. >:(

The food at Cremorne is awesome! ;)

In Port St John's Jungle monkey. Cool music and good bar. Chat to Mikey or Jakes there
