We all met at the Wynlands Engin Filling Station on the N1.
After a quick breakfast all the bikes left , leaving Ktm kev and myself for a memorable ride.
I got permission from the farmer and we hit the Very worn out farm road , mud , rivers and rocks were the order of the day.
There is nothing better than being in the mountains , on a two spoor that very few have been on for a long time.
Although the gps said we were on the right route , it felt like we were heading in the wrong direction.
I have secured permission to return there and do the route again.
It was going to be part of the Yamaha Helderberg ride up to the XT Bash , but its along way and the roads were kak muddy,
If it doesnt rain again , we will make it part of the route .
If Ktm kev can make it up the route with his Ktm 990 and his new 42 L petrol tank , then it will be a breeze for the XT1200Z's that are coming with us.
Buff said I always make interesting rides , this ones for u buff !
