Good Day DOGS

Thanks for all the info this thread has helped me a lot, I check it all the time. Need some help got my self a 690 enduro first bike for me so alot to learn. Im looking for options on a screen for my bike I'm 194cm tall thinking a longer screen would suit me better then i also need help with bar raisers anybody with advise

Hi am 171cm ,I use a Hyde screen with a Aerotrim added, not sure what you will use for your height

If you add a scotts damper then the plate that you get from most of the dealers will give you 22mm. You can then add KTM Raisers that will add another 20mm. From there i would recommend to get a higher bend handle bar. Just need to watch the accelerator cables and clutch as these get "stretched". You can get extended accelerator cable 3" or 4" from a number for websites as for clutch hydraulic line this can be made up locally. Local KTM Dealer say you can raise 57mm without lengthening cable but I'm not so sure.

Flipping the throttle housing gives another 6cm play.  I routed the clutch cable outside the suspension legs, additional 4cm play.  I have the Rally Raid damper unit + 5cm Rox.  I'm tall with short arms.

Thanks a lot guys your help is much appreciated, looking at getting the Hyde screen and will lift the bars as much as i can for now. slowly catch the monkey, bike went in for its first service last week and got a new FMF Q 7 on it if you thinking of doing it get it done bike sounds a hell of a lot better and seems to be running better with loads more grunt any advise keep in coming :thumleft:
