Excellent  :thumleft: Really brilliant half loaf ADV scoots  :ricky:

Coming from a 1150GSA I find a half loaf being more than enough. :ricky:  :thumleft:

No it's a 2016, managed to get a barely used one secondhand. Still seriously awesome though! Will like to see how the new motor 701's perform first before considering an upgrade :)

Some things I've done with my 701. Crashbars, pannier frames, as well as a Stealth Exhaust as the stock one overheated terribly. Improved sticker kit
Now I just need to get the steering damper fitted!

Thank you gser!

It must have been a combination of the type of tyres I'm using as well as tyre pressures (1.5 bar, bit low for tar use), and possibly slightly soft suspension on rear which all contributed. Either that or the universe just hates me!!! :P
We actually went back and checked the road surface, there was nothing funny there. Checked the bike, everything looks fine on front end at least. I rode it again this past weekend and there were no stability problems. Either way I'm putting on that steering damper just in case! :)

Tankslapper = Tires... my 690 started doing it as soon as I changed rubber. It was rock steady with MT21's front & rear but it's trying to shed itself of the Dunlops on it now  :(
