Aaah ... the sweet music of brand bashing.

I have worked in the audio and music instrument industry. I reckon the Yamaha amplifiers, speakers and instruments are some of the best in world. I reckon that Yamaha makes very good toys no matter what they do.

And i dont see those "enduro" bikes fully landed with gear + Pillion?  :pot:

So enduro can mean anything to anyone, the word is not reserved for MX style enduro's. And i think the Germans would see it that way.. :peepwall:

Just another brand bashing, and blah blah blah... :sip:

Plus in 2009 Germany's Andreas Lettenbichler won the ROMANIACS (world most extreme enduro off-road motorcycle race) on a BMW G450 X...  :o

You ouks must stop being jealous... it makes you nasty!  :imaposer:

I takes alot of "enduro" to ride a BMW 500kg tank, ok  ;D

That is very true.  Would love to see some of the enduro gods on those tanks duck walking :lol8:

Most marketing is bullshit in any case.

I have a F800 and I bought it because when I first saw one I wanted one.

Didn't and still don't give two shits about unstoppable whatever or musical whatever.

Yes my bike has it's flaws like any other and brilliant in some other aspects.

But unstoppable, no way no bike is.

Well thus far my BMW has proven much more unstoppable than my ktms,  both the ktms left me on the side of the road more than once, 990 and 690!

Oh yeah Ktm, "ready to race" just take a trailer with because you prob. Gonna have a breakdown, and "ready to race" just avoid the pebbles or your front wheel will fart out all the air,  "ready to race" just remember to take the bike to Hilton for a suspension upgrade... "Ready to race" just remember to put grease around your air filter or avoid dirt roads...

BMW you sleg ding!! God forbid any other manufacturer starts producing 200kg+ bikes that they market for off-road riding with bikes jumping through the air and sliding around corners ala Dakar... If manufacturers see what BMW is up to an try and copy them the world of motorcycling as we know it will end!  Lets just hope that no other manufacturer starts producing these unfinished, heavy road bikes full of electronics and weight and try and sell them to a bunch of wild dogs!  No wild dog will want bikes like these!

:pot: how's that for stirring the pot with some ugly truth!

"Unstoppable enduro" is the term used by a well-known German motorcycle manufacturer in an add for their huge transcontinental cruisers.

I have deduced that either a. BMW knows so preciously little about actual enduro that they are naively abusing the terminology,
                                         b. BMW are so sure that there customers know so preciously little about real enduro that they will not know better, and can thus be mislead,

                                         c. BMW is reflecting on their products terrible offroad stopping record.

Would members kindly air opinions?
