A Diesel in the September issue of Offroad & Adventure SA
« on: August 20, 2013, 10:40:25 am »
This month's Offroad & Adventure SA features SA's first diesel quad. The word quad is probably a swear word here, but hear me out. It's on of those agricultural-type sorts, that put-puts around farms and game farms and estates and tows things and pushes things and carries things. Everything else that does this sort of thing is diesel. Possibly the quad should be too?

More importantly, this month's mag also features:

A scoop story on the new backward-slanting, reverse-cylindered Yamaha YZ250F

The new F800GS Adventure at Jan Staal's farm

The Rallye Raid in the Transkei

Jan Sands gets stuck in a sandstorm in Namibia

Ed Hertfelder classic comedy does anybody remember him?

Nick Yell does the Cape Infanta Tour

GOC Racing

SheDare ladies trials

State Of The Nation

Hollywood Writes

Trade News

Roger Harvey Cartoon

and more...

Thanks gents.

Here's another of our hopelessly amateurish preview videos, this time of this month's Offroad & Adventure SA magazine: Offroad & Adventure SA September Issue Preview

Oh My! I'll buy it just to read Ed Hertfelder - I hope it's his columns from Cycle Magazine a long time ago, they were called Duct Tapes.

Hi Sabre, Ed Hertfelder has two books out already, I don't know if they are currently in print. I'll have to check Amazon some time to see if they have got any.

Kevin Cameron's articles in Cycle World is another persons writing that I really enjoy. I've been very tempted to order his books as well.

I checked about a year ago and couldn't find anything on Amazon. Maybe time to check again, thanks for the heads-up
