Out of Hospital, awsome, Adv, take it easy on the road back.
Grey haired riders don't get that way by pure luck ! !

Sjoe! what a relieve!!
Get well soon Peaches!
Be careful of the words you say.
And keep them soft and sweet.
For you never know from day to day.
Which ones you'll have to eat.

Only got back from holiday now, missed the whole drama... Glad everything turned out well!!  Speedy recovery Peaches :thumleft:

Damn ADV ... i am so sorry to pick up the news. Although i am shocked - i could just say that you biggest XMas prezzy would be that she is alive and recovering well. Just returned with my similiar-looking red 1200GS from Maputu. Was thinking about you guys out there since all of us did the Bilene trip recently. Hope Peaches will be up and running very soon .. all my regards to her please! I will give you a buzz soon .. Regards

Also being wide-awake, just picked up on this thread now.  Shite!!  Glad everyone is well and back on their feet.  Adv, Peaches and Cherry - enjoy the few days left in the Cape.

Has Peaches got a lift back from the airport?  If not, I'm happy to fetch and carry.

ADV I'm very very glad Peaches is Ok.  I was seriously considering buying my wife a bike as well - but I must admit Peaches's accident got me thinking - maybe it is not such a great idea.

Again I'm very glad it all worked out in the end  ;) ;D

Doodles at around 6pm.As far as this incident putting anyone off biking, no.absolutely not!Peaches wants to be back on a bike asap and has my full support.although it can be risky,so is going to the shop. And riding is far more fun than going shopping. We all fall off at some stage,it is part of the game.
If you can keep your head in the midst of all this confusion, you don't understand the situation!

No, don't start thinking like that. An accident is just that, an accident. They happen all the time, no matter how careful you are. I also thought about MM's future safety after seeing this tread and realized that worrying about it won't do much good. Just be careful out there. And that won't even help sometimes.....

I will be there and we (me and Vicky Vicky and I) will try and make it on time - I get off work at about 17:00 and then still need to do a 70km round trip to pick up Vicky and get to Doodles.

I take it you're not planning on being done by 18:35, so it shouldn't be a problem...

:D

02/02/12 - RIP Glen - the Arrow of Elliot and the little man with the big heart that truly was larger than life.

You have touched us and left us better for having known you - even if it was only briefly.
