Damn. 1st thread I read today, and it is this one. I go cold when I read about a biker going down... and it is even worse if it is a Wille Dawg... but this takes the cake. In a bad way. A lady dawg down. REally not nice. I hope things come right as soon as possible. For all the family. Eish. :(

Peaches, get well soon.

Adventurer and family - don't know what to say. Good luck and sterkte for the tough times ahead, may things only improve with each passing day.

(Never good hearing those words "biker down", even more so when they're part of one's "family"... Have not met Adventurer or Peaches, so whilst I want to add my name to the card, am not comfortable doing so. Best wishes to all though.)

Living until you die is a good idea. If living happens to kill you it means you made a mistake, but we are human, and humans make mistakes, so go for it, enjoy it, live until you die, rather than not living for your whole life.

Sad news, but good to see all the Cape dogs offering assistance and rising to the occasion.  Hope it all ends well and that we see this riding family back on the road soon!

Yip!

Please PM me the payment details as well!

Adventurer phoned me earlier (to say thanks for all the support and to find out about something else) - from what I could gather the serious issue was that she had a severe concussion and that was what got her into ICU. She was airlifted from the Cederberg. Now it seems everything is under control again and she is out of danger - even telling Adventurer where in the panniers what was packed! :D ;D

Her arm is broken close to the shoulder joint and they are going to operate on Monday after the swelling has gone down a little. She'll get some Touratech crash bars in the upper arm!

He also says there are no further issues with her neck or spine or anything else. Just the concussion that caused the major concern.

I asked him if the Wilddogs phoning and inquiring in a time of 'production mode' wasn't almost becoming a nuisance - his response ? He said when he phoned Ratel to post about it this morning he knew that the Wilddogs would come through. Even expecting 'mass support' he was still positively overwhelmed by everyone's offers and messages of support.

I did mention that I enjoy and is proud being part of this group ?

:D ;D

I really will try and be there when she 'klaar uit' from the hospital.
