Cross Border Letter from ABSA - who to contact?
« on: August 23, 2013, 01:29:03 pm »
Who does one contact at ABSA to get Cross Border Letters and Copies of the Reg Docs???

Spent an entire week phoning around and pressing buttons for options, sending e-mails and waiting for replies, and still have not managed to find out who to contact to get the correct docs to go to Moz in 2 weeks time!!

Anyone got some ideas??

Should be able to get the contact detail on your statement.
I just mail my banker and cc the Platinum banking email address, takes about 2 - 4 days.
You need to include the letter from your insurance stating that you will be covered, else the bank might not move.
May the bridges I burn light the way...

Thanks Bud - we have tried the contact details on the statement - not even a reply to say they have received the e-mail - phoned the contact no. - The border letter division phone just rings......

We have the insurance letter - that was easy enough - but trying to find the right dept at ABSA....!

I will contact the private banker - no idea why I never thought of that...... Irritated I guess!

Cheers!
