Pack Dog
In March this year we had the 2013 WARTHOG REBEL RUN to my buddy Franna's farm near Thabazimbi. Due to popular demand and a lot of requests it was decided to host a second run...............hence the Warthog Rebel Run 2. The Run is planned for the weekend of 15 – 17 November 2013
We can organise some stickers - updated to 2nd Run2013.
T shirts will not be an option as it takes a lot of admin and I hate admin.
We will organise a vehicle to go through on the Friday to carry baggage, food and drinkables so no bulky packing on the bike should be necessary!

The farm is on the Rooiberg dirt road to Thabazimbi and by dirt with a nice route will take around 4 hours to reach.
There is plenty of game on the farm and a lekke route to ride with your bike.
The Farm has plenty game including giraffe, Kudu, Impala, Waterbuck, Blesbok, Rooihartbees, Nyala, Zebra and WARTHOG!!!!! There is a farm house with proper kitchen , bathroom and hot shower, DSTV, and a pool.
The farm can sleep around 8 to 10 people in the house and there is plenty space to pitch a tent.
The route around Marekele to Vaalwater and back over the mountain and the Kransberge is planned for the Saturday outride or we will have a fun day on the farm with an enduro time trial.
There is usually a group that leaves Friday morning for a dirt outride of around 180km and another after work on tar to Warmbaths with the last 50 on dirt - around 180km
We leave for Pta on another dirt ride via Ruste de Winter on Sunday morning to arrive Cullinan around midday.
Routes and planning to follow later – Route Captain Orangeswity will be in charge of the Routes !
How much moolah :blob7:
Costs are just moolah for food and drinks - shouldn't be more than 300 Mandelas depending on your consumption of alcohol + a 150 Mandela fee for the farm owner “AKA Franna” who is in charge of the workers on the farm to clean after the morsgatte and bring wood.
30 Mandelas for petrol for the back-up bakkie – he will pull a recovery trailer if you so require. We will arrange that booze and baggage and tent if required be dropped off the Thursday evening at around 18:00 in Pretoria East.
The weekend should not cost you more than 800 to 900 Mandelas including fuel!!! You ride a 100k plus bike so this is nothing for a weekend of fun.

We usually braai steaks the Friday evening with pap, sous and salad for the greenies,
On Saturday we make sheep knuckle and neck potjie with some vegetables and rice and bread.
There will be coffee and rusks and buns and wors for lunch or breakfast boeries
