When I have a bike to do it with I would love it!

But my little 125 is my car/commuter and he is used for that purpose only nowaday's.

The Djebel is my touring and galivanting bike.  It's far to pretty to let it get damaged during a fundero.  And being a grey import and all I'm trying my best to keep it spotless.

But I must say, it's nice to daydream about being a fearless rider on a two stroke!  ;)
Never underestimate the power of kindness!

This is an awesome ride.  Lots of everything, single track, jeep track, awesome up-hills, water crossings, more uphills and mud.  My best biking memories are on this route - weaving through the poplars at speed with a KTM 450 while prying that I do not clip the handlebars.

That's a very good point crouse. We need to be careful about riding on private property always.

I'm sure that's why Dusty asked the question as well - just to be sure.  :thumleft:

So Dusty Rusty - You gonna go for one of these events??  :deal: :ricky:

Yes we just need to respect the landowners wishes, but DR when you can make it join us or come marshal (just arrnge beforehand)
We also planned a fun ride in Overberg region to get non licensed riders involved at a minimal fee. will make announcement after KB200, Dec or Jan we hope to take interested riders on parts of the Caledon 400 routes + Dunhye park sections.

TRACK REPORT WCOC KB 200 19TH OCT.
With the three loops completed this weekend you can look forward to racing in some of the most stunning scenery around.
The kiddies will enjoy a shorter loop inside the junior loop, which will take them in and out in close proximity of the pit area and not too far out of sight. They will also enjoy the hype of going through the pit lane.
The Junior loop is 22km long offering a good mix of off-road starting out on sections of the old senior route then peeling back parallel to the R303, behind 32 Degrees South pack shed to the pits. Please make sure your competitors are refuelled each time unless they can do 50km plus. Dave Gouws has organised some extra roving marshals.
The senior loop is 42km & going to be a bit more testing on fitness. 3km after start there are some new bush sections (landowner wants a fire break ridden open), sorry quads  ;D but you need to be careful here especially those running out front, it will get better after the first loop. Then out onto the 2009 loop to the far mountain range, through Leopard Canyon, through some more new interesting pieces and up Rocky Ridge (RR). At the base of RR there is an option to take escape route but you have to decide at that point. The 2010 national went through it with quads and bikes, there is enough room to get past someone stuck, just that the elements in the last years have made it more interesting. Maybe someone would like to sponsor RR & we put your banner there - pm me?
Once out RR then 14km of typical Off- Road brings you back to the pits. Distance boards are placed every 5km, if you or another competitor is stranded please memorise which board you last past Ocket & I know how to get to most of route by vehicle if need be.
Personally I think it is a track will favour Bikes as the Quads will need to be careful especially in the beginning. My tip is hydrate as the cool air is deceiving.
Pleas note all Two hour classes & Social classes will do two laps where as Regional three hour classes will timed on three hours. :deal:
Welcome to KB200.

Fuzzy make a plan enter & you can pay on the day - i will inform Admin - just do the paperwork so Grant can load transponder / starting order etc... as he is up there on Friday and away from computers etc... I promise you this is one you will remember ( yes it is rideable)

Buff :'( cant you make a plan Robertson is next door . Bikes ride after 1 pm ( thought we would do this to make sure your are on time LOL)

Guys this is the last WC msa race for 2013 between all three clubs - then you have a drought until end Jan 2014, so make a plan lots of team effort has gone into it. Just looking at things
we used 2000 stickers & placed 1200 steel pegs to complete the 3 x tracks    :thumleft:

Thank you Dave, that is very kind. I have a big ass tank so the bike probably won't need a refuel but I am sure I will. Maybe I will only fill up a little fuel to keep the weight down.

Entry forms in  :thumleft:

I am not afraid to say I am kakking myself for those rocks, sadly what seems easy for some is not so easy for me. I like to think I am fairly ok in sand, but rocks, inclines etc I still struggle with, only way to get better is to enter these kind of events.

Struggling on and off with a lung infection but will be there like a bear.

See you there  :thumleft:

Nothing like a bit of heavy breathing going up Rocky Ridge to cure that...trust me, I'm not a doctor  :imaposer:
