Hi all,

I have three bikes so I do the lot except transcontinental. Each bike has it advantages and disadvantages the kind of riding you do.

I'd like to range a bit further afield but extended distances on a XR600R aren't practical. Time to get a 1200GS.
For now I enjoy blasting around local dirt roads and railway service roads. Discovering new ways of getting from A to B via XR. 200km with some photo and pitstops thrown in. I'm also a regular town cruiser. Riding the bike makes traffic more bearable.
I hate highway riding.
1988 XR600R, 2014 Triumph Tiger 800XC. Volvo XC90. Yes I drive a Volvo. No, I don't care what you think.

I commute a few days a week
I do day-rides a couple of times a month
I try for an over-nighter every 2 months or so
I aim for a long trip - 5 days plus - about once a year

Exactly  what CT says   :sip:
i only work to support my hobbies!!
