Drove down to East London over the last 2 days (by car!) on holiday.
Overnighted at Comfrey Cottages in Lady Grey - highly recommended. Excellent rooms (cottages!), good food and a central restaurant. Also a good place to use as a central area for touring. Can find them on the net: https://www.comfreycottage.co.za/
Lovely gravel road to Jamestown, really good riding. And there are other nice things to do in the area...
