In KTM 1190 Adventure and Adventure R 1190, Model 2014, a revolutionary driver assistance system celebrates its world premiere: the stability control MSC. For a long-cherished dream come true - an ABS that works perfectly even in curves.
Jointly developed with Bosch, MSC technology supports the driver of the 1190 adventure together with the combined C-ABS anti-lock brakes and traction control MTC in different situations - of course within the limits of physics, like any assistance system:
MSC prevents slippage of the wheels when braking in an inclined position.
MSC minimizes the righting when braking in an inclined position.
MSC prevent a rollover during hard braking.
MSC prevents slippage of the rear wheel when accelerating at an angle.
MSC prevents rising of the front wheel when accelerating.
In this way extends the application range of the 1190 adventure over the entire span of pleasure cruising oriented to the uncompromising Angasen, from comfortable travel to trips to the fascinating world away from the asphalt.
