On the way to work this morning, only ( fortunately ) about 5 kms from home, in Kloof, bike motor just cut out. Everything else still appearing normal...motor dead. I stopped....fiddled with kill switch and side-stand switch...to no avail. Need this like a hole in the head... 
not even 8 weeks after crashing the thing...
A guy on a little Suz 500 stopped, lifted me back home, thanks so much to this gentleman.
So.....I had to "harass" Mike from Ryder ( on his LAST day there :biggrin: as he starts his own bus. on Monday!) before he even leaves for work to cry for help.
First obstacle....to recover the stricken scoot...to safety at least...not exactly comfortable with it standing on the pavement, albeit in a respectable residential area, as it's on a busy rd.
