You are right the Chinese mils usually are pap.
In General they work very well, pap but well, until they break, which will be soon. Then they still work - as a designer paper weight and a reminder of the sell out of the worlds quality engineering to the empire of the cheap rubbish.
They can be fixed for R24.50 if you can still get the necessary spare part which against all assurances will not be the same as used in a Honda CD200. As a rule the only part that breaks in a Chinese engine will always be precisely the one which is NOT compatible with any Japanese part.
My claim is this is exactly the reason why precisely this one part fails

The Japanese copied European engineering:
They looked at it, improved it, produced it in better quality for less money and sold it.
The Chinese copy Japanese & European engineering:
They look at it, make it cheaper, in very poor quality and adorned with an instruction manual which in comparsion lifts a badly dyslexic stutter onto Shakespearean levels and sell it at Chinatown
