Agreed.....BUT....at that moment the good guy was no longer threatened, his life was not in danger as he'd already handed over his scoot, he no longer had a gun pointed at him. The only thing was he was in the process of losing his personal property. So....is it okay the shoot the perp. ?

off course !! You musnt forget that he was the one pointing the gun first and threatening someones life , just because he has moved a few meters doesnt mean he is suddenly not dangerous , what about the next person that tries to keep his belongings , should he die because  of some technicality that the armed oke was not an imediate threat when he was shot .F%@k that.....

People in SA have gotten into kak for shooting a robber as he is making off with whatever he's just nicked. I cannot quote exact incidents...but def. heard of such. Sure, at that moment your PROPERTY is endangered...but not your life. I just seem to recall such events being explained to us when doing my gun licence competency course.
