People in SA have gotten into kak for shooting a robber as he is making off with whatever he's just nicked. I cannot quote exact incidents...but def. heard of such. Sure, at that moment your PROPERTY is endangered...but not your life. I just seem to recall such events being explained to us when doing my gun licence competency course.

In SA yes, we protect criminals, in Brazil it seems they still get what they deserve.

i think the guy being hijacked was in the most danger when the cop shot cause he was almost directly behind the perp. But i got no sympathy for the perp, mommy always said if you play with fire ..........

+1

The owner of the bike did very well to get clear and back off quickly. I enjoyed the uitkak session he had with the thief lying in agony on the road afterwards.

Amazing how fast these things happen.

Yea, you are right. At least in Namibia you are not allowed to shoot to protect property, only lives. There is a huge difference between law and justice here in Africa. The cur deserved what he got, and the bunny huggers that disagree never had to defend loved ones against these pieces of bobbejaan kak. Wish I could buy that cop a whiskey

Agreed.....BUT....at that moment the good guy was no longer threatened, his life was not in danger as he'd already handed over his scoot, he no longer had a gun pointed at him. The only thing was he was in the process of losing his personal property. So....is it okay the shoot the perp. ?
FARK YESSS!! Did the perp have a gun? YES!! Was he prepared to use it? YES!! Would the cop have caught him on the bike? Hell NO!!  So, would he have done it again? For sure.  He got what he deserved.  Us westerners are to lenient when it comes to crime.  That is why we sit with the mess we have in the world.

Friend of mine was hijacked in edenvale about 12 years ago.  They took his car and shot him in the head as they drove away.

When in rome, shoot the piece of f@$&*ing shit.

We not talking about a pick pocket.  These people are pointing deadly weapons at people to get what they want.  Rid the world of them.
Regards,

Sheldyn

Did you see the slogan on the other perp's black shirt FITCH. He though he could just FITCH himself a new bike at gunpoint. 10/10 to the cops for shooting. This will make other theives think twice before they try this in Brazil.
If the bike rider reved quickly and dumped the clutch he would have hit the perp. Hind site is wonderfull, but it happens too fast.
Love this story.
Mike.

Looks like the cops where waiting there for a hijack . 2 or 3 more small black cars in the immediate vicinity ?
