He did what cops here should do!

In SA the police and the law is here to protect criminals from being hung in puplic. Seems like Brazil has the better idea in this regard.

online reports say that he apparently died in hospital from his wounds but I don't see any reference to confirming this for sure, it may just be poor reporting.

By the way... the cop was not in plain clothes either, he is in uniform when you watch the video a few times.

I suspect this is a known hijack point and they were just waiting for some perps to try their luck. Good police work. :thumleft:
