Thanks, I've googled a bit - looks like it is a paperbark (most photos not very clear to me ... but then again so is mine 😀). Will collect some leaves & "peule" tonight just to be certain

Briza publications have just published The pocket list of Southern African Indigenous trees . It was done by the Dendrological Society of S A .

Beautiful tree isn't it.

Lots of them in Namibia .. even a Phantom tree Forest (Sprokiesboom Woud) where a whole lot of them grow together.

Thats is one of the reasons why i want to go to namibia. There is some amazing trees.

Euphorbia Ingens.
widely found in Limpopo.
Milky sap is quite dangerous. Can cause blindness if contact with eyes.

They are not indigenous and have taken over huge parts of the Nossob River.
