I'm sure the regular readers of this forum will be well aware of the bash which was held this past weekend. As I live in Centurion and work in Brakpan, there was no way I was going to make it to the bash on Friday night as I only arrive home around 18:30 in the evening.
Our riding group was going to be Leo, Excalibur, Patman, Patches, Pofmuis and Pielas.
Pielas never pitched, so we left without him. (Waar was jy jou bliksem, ek koop nie daai verskoning van die werk nie :deal
We met at Engen in Lynwood early Saturday and hit the road making good time and pace. We planned to eat at the Jagkamp just outside Nylstroom around 10 - 11'ish which would last us till the evening when the catering at the bash should sort the evenings meal.
Well the stop at the Jagkamp led to an impromptu bikini bike wash as Excalibur was covered in mud from his nuts down due an earlier encounter with a mud bath. This placed us at the Mampoerboer bar around 1'ish which led to the rugby which led to us leaving Nylstroom around 16:30 with ± 130 km's to go.
Due to overcast the dusk settled fairly quickly and in the end we arrived at the bash site around 18:30 in absolute darkness with a good 80% of the bash goers at a fairly advanced stage of drunken.com :thumleft:
Well we settled in very quickly and tried to catch up as best we can.
Fun was had by all and lotsa kark was talked.
Congrats to Mark and Malibu who proposed earlier - I didn't witness but judging by Malibu's smile, it must've been awesome. Congrats you two, you make the perfect couple.
At the bash there were 3 Leon's, 2 Hein's, 2 Philips and One Welsh - to coing a phrase. :ricky:
