Tyre Levers on a 690

I posted this over in AdvRider as well.  Did you know that if you replaced the 2 stock airbox lid screws with something like this:


and if you bought 2 curved Tusk style levers like these:



they will fit perfectly with the curvature of the stock air box:



The seat will keep it perfectly located. It does not rattle or move. I used a couple of strips of duct tape to keep it in place initially, but I completed Amageza with them there and they did not budge.

Excellent work! So I shouldn't have wasted money on some of those fancy light alloy Motion Pro ones with built in bead breaker....

I do the curved ones like that...heard them called 'Michelin Type' levers...
