We plan a combined Baboons expedition on the weekend 14-16 Dec before everybody break away for the festive season.
GS-bikers will be tackling the pass on their 1200s and will have their own backup 4x4 with trailer which will also carry the biker's camping gear (from Gauteng). All bikers will contribute to the back-up 4x4’s expenses
We would also appreciate the good company of forum 4x4 members. The previous combined trip in the KZN FreeState passes weekend proved very successful.

The plan is to travel to the campsite on the Saturday and camp at the site at the bottom end of the pass. We will ride on Sunday up and/or down. There is also a return gravel highway should one want to take the longer way around. The evening we camp at the same spot and share the day's experience over a few cold ones and good fire. Oh yes, we will also eat.
Monday is public holiday in RSA and we will use this day to recover whoever is in need and travel home in high spirit.
What happens if it rains? Well, it just rain and we carry on.
